FreeCell is a strategic solitaire card game played with a standard 52-card
deck. Unlike other solitaire games, nearly all deals in FreeCell are solvable.
The Goal
Build up all four suits from Ace to King in the foundation piles (the top
right four cells).
The Rules
Free Cells: The four top-left cells are "free cells." You can store one card in
each free cell at a time.
Tableau: Build down cards in the main area (tableau) by alternating colors
(e.g., Red 6 on Black 7).
Foundations: Move Aces to the foundations as soon as they are available,
followed by 2s, 3s, etc.
Moving Cards: You can move single cards. To move a sequence of cards, you need
enough empty free cells or tableau columns to facilitate the move.
Winning Strategies
1. Prioritize Aces: Try to uncover Aces early to start
your foundations.
2. Keep Free Cells Open: Use free cells sparingly. They
are your key to maneuvering cards.
3. Empty Columns: Empty columns are powerful—they allow
you to move longer sequences of cards.
